Decided it was time for an update. Notice you can now view the stats (number of people visiting the site etc.) by clicking on the "view stats" button underneath the banner ad. We went on a ski camp last weekend, staying at the
Ruapehu Scout Lodge. You can read more about this in the "reports" section. On Wednesday (09/08/00) two of our Scouts were presented with the highest award you can earn as a scout - the Chief Scout award, by our District Commissioner. You can also read more about this in the "reports" section.

Lately we went to Pio Pio which was great fun! Although it was raining and therefore very muddy, nothing was cancelled so it was a great success. We have a ski camp coming up and hopefully that will also be a great success. Also we would like to thank Dennis Crowley who has to leave us due to work commitments.
Here's something that's not a joke - I tried it. Get paid to surf the net! Simply join, download a viewbar, and they pay you (NZ) 50c an hour to have some ads down the bottom of you're screen. As well as that, each day you surf for more than 3 minutes, they enter you into a daily jackpot of minimun US$50,000. Now who couldn't use that!
